Shaista, I am not able to verify the identification with some images on the internet. The few I find, do not agree with the leaves of your species, for example

(sorry for the BIG link..i couldnt actually find where this pic is actually coming from..but google image search showed me this one..where the leaves quite resemble the one i clicked.

Further, i found this pdf document...http://www.steffenfoerster.com/research/Data/Pages_from_LWANDE.pdf ...the leaves arent quite close...but it is apparent that they are not round either...

On most of the links i have specified since i posted here, the common names are the same as the label of this plant from where it was clicked. (kapur tulsi)
