It is a bit discomforting for me that I could not find this species in any of my usual references. How on earth did u manage to identify it?
By the way, the name Mharbir is also shared by Blumea membranacea (for whatever this information is worth).

I found it in Floristic Survey of Institute of Science .

Please note that the page download may take several minutes.

I too was trying to identify the plant. I searched on the term given by tabish. I believe, I have identified the plant.

Botanic name: Cyanthillium cinereum
Common name : little or Asian ironweed, purple fleabane (Vernonieae), alien weed, Hawai'i.

JV, although Cyanthillium cinereum appears quite close to Dinesh's flower, there are some subtle differences. One is that the flowers in Dinesh's plant are carried on really thin, wiry stems/stalks, whereas those of Cyanthillium cinereum are on thicker stalks. Secondly, the leaves in Dinesh's species are very curiously shaped, which is not the case with Cyanthillium cinereum.
I have a feeling that Dinesh's guess about this plant is right, by I am just waiting for either a reference picture or a reference descrïption.

Dinesh, I had tried a lot, but I could not see the picture of Blumea paniculata on Floristic Survey of Institute of Science site, due to the strange way they have made that page
But finally I got to see it. Indeed, your identifications seems correct.

Indeed! It did skip my attention. I saw the image and it agreed with your picture, and had put off uploading it up for a later time. Thanks for reminding me.
