Thanks for the picture. This flower looks the same as

http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Viola%20Jackanapes.jpg

except the color of the ears. But the color of the ears also seem to be different in your two pictures. I was not sure of the species which we had put up. They are probably different varieties of the same species.
