Dinesh, I think this is wrongly identified on some sites as Portulaca oleracea. Portulaca oleracea has flowers which are much smaller than the leaves. See for example: http://www.missouriplants.com/Yellowalt/Portulaca_oleracea_page.html
This should be a garden variety of Portulaca umbraticola.

Absolutely correct.
This is not at all Portulaca olercea ... clearly Big blunder !!
