Dear Members,
I had been on a trip to Darjeeling last year.Following are some of the links to pictures of plants which I had collected.Please help me identify them for my herbarium.

Okhay.......about 3 i have doubts...compare these two pictures...are they same??

9 looks like some knotweed. The genus could be Persicaria, Bistorta, Polygonum... Can't be more specific than that.

Sayani, I feel the two links u sent are of the same flower. The picture in the davegarden link could be upside down - these flowers hang, looking down...
Here they seem to be in the bud stage. In your pic, they have bloomed, but are not fully open.

Have some doubts about 5.....it does not resemble the purple fountain grass on the FOI site........
