In ancient literature , we come across a flower by the name of VAIJAYANTHIMALA.Garlands were made out of it.Ppl please let me know how it can be identified today.

Somebody else had also asked about Vaijayantimala on this forum.
From what I am able to find out, Vaijayanti is not a name of any flower. Vaijayanti is a garland made out of at least 5 (or more) wild flowers. Sometimes this word is also used for a garland made out of 5 or more kinds of precious stones.

Any more inputs on this will be appreciated.
