Hello.... I am completely new to gardening and am trying my hand at it in Delhi for the first time. I would like to start growing my own flower seedlings from seed .. the flowers I wish to grow are:
Godesia whitneyii
Phlox drummondi
Verbana
Carnation
Chrysanthemum

My questions are:

1. When should I start planting seeds in my seedling trays? I think it is still far too hot in Delhi.
2. What is soil mixture I should use for these seeds? Is it necessary to 'sterilise' the mixture?
3. I have bought an assortment of these seeds - Pocha and Plantsmans. Have any members had any experience with these?

I shall sincerely appreciate any help from members...
