I live in Madras but all my gardening is in the hill station of Kodaikanal. I want pointers on where i can get bulbs of daylillies, i only have the yellow ones. I also want the less common fuschias.

I am willing to get them from even the North/North East of india but dont know of any reliable nursery/gardner

I will soon post pictures of my garden, it has a medow full of almost 1000 agapanthus and then a small English cottage style garden of different lilly / lilly like plants.

the list of nurseries on the website mentions numerous nurseries in himachal, uttarakhand and tamil nadu which claim to stock day lilies. the contacts from himachal have pretty much what you want; as they claim to have over 15 or 20 different varieties. if you want the seeds then july might be the right time as the pods start to ripen at this time. i've come across numerous day-lily varieties in Himachal. dehradun might be of interest to you aswell.

i've purchased other stuff but not day lilies. though i've seen. did you call the kangra guys? they have many varieties, if i remember correctly.
