Hi,
I have a big balcony to my leaving room. I would like to splash my balcony with various kinds of plants...Specially flower plants. I have also seen the terrace gardening forum on FOI site.
Could you please guide me more on what kind of plants I should choose for my balcony to look good.
Also that would be great if you could suggest me some of the good nursaries from Pune, where I will get lods of beautiful plants.

Thanks all, specially FOI for this awesome site.

Ten thousand I saw at a glance,
tossing their heads in sprightly

Hi Pallavi
I too did some terrace gardening..and the flowers in my garden include frangipani, lilies (Amaryllis belladonna and rain lily), rajnigandha, sada-bahar (sorry for the local names..but u can search FOI for these). I am sure, they will do as good in a balcony as on a terrace
Try these..they should be easily available in any nursery.

I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck. :-)

Pallavi - the choice of plants will depend on where you live. Try verbena and pentas as well, they would need a bit of sunlight though

Regards
Pradeep
