hello all,
About 2 months ago i purchased 2 sandalwood saplings from a noted nursery. The saplings are about 15 inches in height, with light green leaves and are sparsely leaved.
I transplanted them immmediately into 8 inch clay pots and they are placed in a spot where they get mid-day sun to about 3in the after noon.
The saplings were doing fine, by fine I mean they looked healthy and fresh.
Two days back one of the sapling's leaves have withered and it doesnt look help.
What could have wrong and what can I do to save it.I have now placed that sapling amongst other trees so that the sun is not so much.
Please help.

sir, i think sandal roots are parasitic. sandal's roots cling on to the roots of other plants and get nutrition. so it might have something to do with that
