Hi All
I am writing in for the first time on this forum. I seek guidance from all of you knowledge-able people about the different varities of Indian plants, shrubs, bushes trees which bear fragrant flowers-their names, how to plant, grow, tend to them and where are they available.
Secondly, is there any truth in the belief that fragrant flowers attract snakes in the garden in which they grow
Thanks

Bhartiae, welcome to the forum!
The information you desire, seems to be a lot. Probably, it will be better to go step by step.
1. Different varieties of fragrant plants are listed in a separate section on the Flowers of India (FOI) site.
2. FOI does not carry gardening information. You can pick up a particular plant, search the internet for gardening tips on it. If you have a specific question, you can post it in the gardening section here.
3. To find where a plant is available, you can browse the list of nurseries on the FOI site. It might help in picking up a suitable nursery.
4. I think fragrant flowers attracting snakes is just a grandma's tale!
