I am here again... after due diligence and lot of effort...finally im able to manage seeds and germinate Baobab (adansonia digitata) of africa .... its awesome... |

Flower is really awesome and I am not sure about the fragrance. Although I have experienced the other variety of the same family. Its quite good. (Adansonia FONY)In that case the flower was orange in color. I have seen it live when it was opening up. It takes only 2 mins to change from bud to flower in the evening. It attracts bats for pollination. You may get a seedling from Delhi ( I know the place, the guy is having around 100 seedlings of around 3 feet height) hope it helps. Best Regards, Vinay Rathore |

Chandrabhan if you havent got them already, take a trip down to the Byculla zoo but later in the year in flowering season. There are 2 gorgeous baobabs just after the heritage archway and the seed pods are to be found all around them. Help yourself!
