Hello all. This is my first post. I am staying in mumbai and have just got a unique opportunity to photograph "brahma kamal". I know that it blooms at midnight. I want to know if i can pinpoint the DAY i will bloom.

knlshnd, welcome to the forum. The name Brahma Kamal is used for more than one flower. The one more commonly called Barhamkamal is a Himalayan flower (Saussurea obvallata):

This name is also used (mostly in Marathi) for some night blooming Cacti. I don't know when one is yours. We have one called Epiphyllum oxypetalum:

Brahma Kamal (Marathi) blooms during the rainy season (July - August). The other Brahma Kamal can be seen only in the Himalayas.
