You can try Four O'clock (Mirabilis jalapa). They are supposed to profusely bloom all summer long. Some fancy varieties of Sadabahaar, Vinca - the ones with completely red flowers or white with a red center may also not be a bad idea. You can always bank on them for color when the others have died out. |

You may plant Achimenes, profuse flowering, small hebaceous perennial plants. They have underground tubers, available in nurseies. Aster amellus, short, profuse flowering plants in, puple, white, blue coloured flowers are too desirable. I do not know how to load the photographs here, else I would have postedpictures too. |

I would suggest you to plant rain lilies... The amount of sunlight required is just right...and my experience of rain lilies is that you just sprinkle ample water in dry weather and they bloom with beautiful color...(pink, white and yellow) ..so u can get bulbs from some nursery and plant them right away...monsoon is specially good for these!.. | |||
